Established in 1969, the Foundation has helped many credit unions with limited resources to grow and prosper and reach underserved communities. Some of the activities funded through the Foundation in the past include the Minnesota Credit Union Network’s Small Credit Union Conference; education and training for credit union employees and volunteers; financial literacy programs; and charitable fundraising for the Children’s Miracle Network. The Foundation has also provided funds to aid in international credit union development and local, national and international disaster relief efforts.

- MnCUF will ensure that no credit union initiative will go unfulfilled due to lack of funding.
- MnCUF will support, assist, and financially benefit credit unions and their communities.
- MnCUF will deliver financial support through a thriving credit union industry and their communities in Minnesota.
